Voici donc mon collage auquel ont participé;
@booyakatopia Netherlands
Jan Kater de New York
Fred Hailey de Californie
@lauralubecki de Pennsylvania.
Il s’intitule «Chaos intérieur».

Another Berkeley Commonplace Round Table Collaboration collage project in the books!
This is my second time participating, along with a group of fellow #collageartists from the U.S. and Canada. Each collaborator starts a collage, then mails it to the next person in the group to add to or modify the piece. The artwork travels until it circles back to its originator, who can put any finishing touches on it they’d like before sending it off for inclusion in Berkeley Commonplace’s in-person and online exhibit.
At the end of the process, my group will have completed and submitted five works of art to which we all contributed, with each of us listed as the originator of one.
Since 2009, hundreds of people of all ages and backgrounds around the world have participated in Round Table Collaboration projects and workshops. Well over one thousand collaborative collages have been featured in more than 30 exhibitions.

Berkeley Commonplace is 5 years old! We’re small and slow growing, but that’s okay. We have a lot to be thankful for and a lot to look forward to.
Heartfelt thanks to the Berkeley Commonplace community—in the Bay Area and around the world—for your thoughtful participation and generous support.

I’m starting 2026 off with the completion of my collage collaboration with the @berkeleycommonplace ! Thanks to everyone in my group ( no. 20, The Scrap Pack) for all your creative inspiration on this Mail Art Collage Project No15! We started sending our artwork to each other in September. Now each Originating Collage will be sent via snail mail by its author-Artist to California. Once received there it will be archived and readied for a big international collage exhibition in May 2026. We are way ahead of schedule on mine. When I received it, (with additions from the 4 others in my group) I sat and contemplated all the details & images that have transformed a blank cardboard tea box into a magical world. (see image 2,of this post) Then I decided what I could add to my Collage-a-Box format to add excitement to the story it tells. How wonderful to collage on such a tiny scale. I love how colorful it has become. It is populated with interesting figures & people. I added Cats and tiny floral embellishments. It feels as though we could pop right into this collage garden & public park for a cup of tea and a chat with a Kitty Cat. Or listen to the red piano music & watch a unicyclist juggle. Open the door and join us. A Collage can be anything and everything. #vibrantvisionarycollage #berkeleycommonplace #the97collageproject #collageabox #mailart
Another collage for the add and pass hosted by @berkeleycommonplace . These have been a bit out of my comfort zone, because frankly I rarely ever work with glossy magazine images. So this one I added some black and white vintage paper (that I received from @dadacutcollage Thanks, Stephen)! Swipe to see what it looked like when I received it. Can you spot the differences? Onward to France next(@colindaniele )! #berkeleycommonplace #cutandpaste #collage
