My first ever "one man" show, Give a Little Bit More, premieres next month as a part of Playground-SF's first ever comedy festival. Featuring brand new songs and a wild storyline - tickets are in my bio!
I say "one man" because this couldn't happen alone - I have @tirumario who has helped with writing, and is also technically IN the show 👀, @dionicest supervising every single tech decision, and @rayderbankert directing. Will also be featuring a few more people you know and love, so stay tuned! Working on this show has been a dream come true, especially thanks to this creative team, and I can't wait to share it with you. Amazing artwork by @mythical_water and I swear I'll upload the full version with no text at some point.
Show: An introspective, heartfelt, meta musical comedy show that asks how far you’d go to make your dreams come true. In a hail mary attempt to reignite his creative spark, Ben takes advice from a mysterious stranger who pushes him beyond his limits in a show that continually grows in intensity. Inspired by musical theater and Bo Burnham, performed by someone who never got cast in musicals and hates being compared to other depressed comedians with pianos.

Posting some highlights from performing my original song "I'm Not Hot Enough" at @theruckusrevival a few months ago. This song is everywhere you can find music!

I'll have new news to share about this show eventually, but I just wanted to express that I haven't forgotten how the community showed up and I'm still so grateful. Thank you.
This past April was one of the months of all time, but I'm def ready to start sharing more from this final show.
And as always, not possible without the creative insights of @tirumario@dionicest@rayderbankert . You're all getting tagged every post, even if you don't use IG ❤️

Final show completed. I'll be uploading photos and footage from the show itself soon, but for now I wanted to celebrate and thank everyone who came out to see my show "Give a Little Bit More". The final show had 60ish people which blows my mind. People made time in their busy schedules, flew or drove from hours away, some even came more than once, to see a show about what it means to have (and not have) a healthy relationship with making art. Feeling locked into a certain path in life and being okay with change. A wild B-plot about a couple grieving. The best slam poem to ever exist. More references to Kingdom Hearts than any other piece of musical theater ever. This show had it all.
This is the big thank you post so get ready. @tirumario@dionicest@rayderbankert you are the best creative team anyone could have asked for, and none of this would have been possible without all of your creative input. So many jokes, emotional moments, small details got elevated because of you. I love you all so much.
To everyone that contributed in some way to this project - @gerardishere@brendangetzell@thatlexplays@mythical_water@guyriggs thank you for believing in me. To @playgroundsftheatre@khemmyrick for putting this production on, thank you for the opportunity.
I'll have more to say later, but know this: this isn't the end of Give a Little Bit More. If there's any opportunity to do this show again, to release an album of the songs, I'm jumping at the chance. For now, I'm gonna take a break by draining my phone, then charging my phone, then draining my phone, then char-
Batch #2 of photos from my original one-man show "Give a Little Bit More", from the amazing footage by @guyriggs
and as always shoutout @tirumario@rayderbankert and the amazing lighting design by @dionicest
Final performance is tomorrow. Who knows when we'll do it again. Come see what critics are calling "this bit is getting old"
Show #2 was a success! Here's a batch of screenshots from the AMAZING footage that @guyriggs shot that night. Shoutout to @tirumario@rayderbankert and of course the AMAZING lighting work by @dionicest
It feels so cool to finally perform this really meaningful personal piece about what it means to make art without a creative spark, but to do so in the most inappropriate off-the-wall way possible. Long live weird art.
We have ONE MORE SHOW, this SUNDAY 3/29 at 7PM.

Come see what critics are calling "please stop quoting me I haven't seen your work yet"
Photo from opening night of my show! I've been resting and taking an elongated break, but I felt the love in the room and it was amazing seeing so many friends come out to support live art. I'm so happy you can finally see what we've been working on.
We have two more shows, the next one is Sunday 3/22 at 8:30pm! Come see what critics are calling "quote needed"
