When Yuri first reached out, I was all in.
I knew this was something special.
We had worked together before, and the connection was already there, on both sides.
It took time, patience, and pushing through a lot to get here…but we made it happen. Big time!
Months of planning, two very precise days of shooting, all building toward something bigger, and the results speaks for themselves.
This project felt different...
More personal and more honest.
The kind of work where you don’t just photograph, but step into someone’s world and build something together.
I’ve worked with a lot of talent over the years, but these kinds of projects stay with me. There’s a depth and trust you don’t always get.

Chasing that edge where still images feel alive.
Been a minute since I picked up the video system and shot solo. Dusted it off this year and back in it.
What pulls me in is the play. Composition, light, texture… building frames that sit still but feel like they’re moving.
Once the ingredients are right, it’s about mixing and bringing the vision to life.
Grateful for a team that trusts it and shows up on the mad days.

There was something special about this one from the start. The energy, the music, the references, everything pointed toward a world that feels nostalgic but still alive. Classic silhouettes, rich textures, a bit of romance, and letting Stephen move through it naturally.

Working with Stephen Sanchez felt easy in the best way. He brings his own rhythm, and the whole set followed. It became less about directing and more about reacting, catching those in-between frames where it all clicks.
