Great little get away to the Oregon coast! Lighthouses, bays, bridges and Declan exploring everything he can!

Well here goes… Shae, Declan and myself are leaving Summit County at the end of May. One post can’t possibly sum up my life here or thank all the people that have helped me grow. There are a few I’d like to mention however. -The Gold family, Ken, Patty Arielle and Taylor, you are my family and my best friends, I never would have made it here with out you. Thank you for putting up with my shenanigans. - The Hearthstone Restaurant. The ownership, management, staff. 10 years of working in one place is an accomplishment in a tourist town. The bigger accomplishment is having a culture that allows its staff to thrive for that time. There are many corrupt and poorly run businesses in Summit, The Hearthstone rises above. -The snowboard community and industry here. All the coaches, photographers, fellow riders and contest organizers thank you. I moved her as a kid for snowboarding and owe this culture all my success. -High Country Healing Bobby and Nick. Thank you for supporting my snowboarding endeavors and for organizing the best men’s softball team in the mountains. I’m going to miss playing with the boys every Wednesday and reliving our little league dreams. -My closest friends. Highs and lows and all our mistakes I am still proud to remember our amazing times here together. Though some I have lost through differences and just growing up, the ones who have stayed true I really appreciate you. -And most importantly Shae, you came to this county and brought us the world’s best little boy. I’m so excited to embark on our next journey and so proud of the woman you are. Moving here on a whim was so difficult, but your resilience has inspired me to become a better father, partner and friend. I love you. Well the short version is long enough. Shae and I are still in town for another week and would love to see you all if possible. Cheers.
