From your early grocery store experiments, to @milkandmyrrh pop-ups, to global explorations, you found your voice & are singing for your people. You’ve fought for this book relentlessly & sacrificed a great deal to share it with the world. Long sleepless nights, deep research, & tremendous risk, have all paid off. A lifetime of preparation & immersion in who you are, where you come from, & what you’re blessed to share with those around you. I’m endlessly proud & amazed at your devotion, creativity & persistence. Also, thank you for letting me be your taste-tester for all these years ❤️
Playing shows and touring, I had continued to meet different bands and musicians. One that stood out to me was @mshvb_ , who we had shared a bill with in 2010. When redividing into music in 2023, a new single by the band caught my ear, and I began digging into their other albums as well as the frontman @benjaminverdoes other music projects. After reaching out to him we finally managed to meet up in Seattle, Washington in 2024

Stand On My Shoulders is out now. When @ya.tseen was touring with @portugaltheman down the west coast I was lucky enough to tag along with all my cameras.
