we are offering “the starter kit,” a semi-mobile workspace designed for off-grid, community-driven, small-scale regenerative agriculture; to enable access to gardening, farming, and ecosystem restoration—because we believe it’s through many hands, in diverse places, with different actions, that we begin to rewild the agricultural sector and make space for more-than-human* connection. in repurposed shipping containers, the starter kit offers modular elements including: workbenches, shelving and storage, tool walls, a kitchen unit, an electricity system, lighting, and an expandable scaffolding system. designed for projects of up to 10 hectares, the space is adaptable to the needs of local communities and other stakeholders. since part of this project was graduating from @designacademyeindhoven you will find the project at the graduation show ‘25. furthermore are we excited to announce our participation with the pilot project at spoor k – we’re looking forward to welcoming you properly during @dutchdesignweek ___________________ *more-than-human refers to a perspective that recognizes humans as only a part of a broader web of life, emphasizing the agency, value, and interdependence of all living and non-living beings in shaping the world. photo credits (2-8) to @anwyn.howarth

we are a collective creating possibilities for community-driven ecosystem regeneration.. .who are we? ..bram and onno began this journey in september 2024, planting the first seeds through the development of rewild farming and its starter kit. our aim is simple, rooted, and bold: to empower people to get their hands dirty and begin to rewild their own food systems. since shaped the blueprint for our first season—centering on connection, co-creation, and building a foundation from which we can grow outward. with the deep belief that collaboration and networks are vital to the resilience of naturecultures*, we are weaving relationships—local and global—that nourish this work. it’s already growing; with each conversation, each partnership.. with every next hand in the soil. in just a few months, a growing group of practitioners has joined us. we share moments in the garden, stories by the fire, food under softening skies. we’ve begun a shared garden at sectie-c, welcomed @stadsmakersehv to the land, and are cultivating upcoming collaborations with @tueindhoven and @fablabbcn come join us any time! _________________ “natureculture” (a term by donna haraway) refuses the division between nature and culture—emphasizing their deep entanglement and co-creation in all forms of life. photo credits (2): @anwyn.howarth

as one door closes, another opens — in february we’ve begun with a pilot project beside our studio at spoor k. here, along the bones of an old railway line, we’re exploring the possibilities our starter kit offers—testing, planting, and quietly beginning the regeneration of an industrial area through soil, garden, and community.
come see how we have begun... and you’re always welcome to drop by; to garden, share a drink, or simply pause and soak in the sun. from a residency at sectie-c to this living pilot at fuutlaan, spoor k, rewild farming is beginning to grow across eindhoven—threading new roots between places and people. we’re always open to new collaborations and shared imaginings. if you’re full of ideas and enthusiasm to meet the climate urgencies with your hands in the earth — get in touch. _______________ the starter kit is a converted shipping container equipped with essential tools and infrastructure for starting small-scale regenerative farming projects.

_ Nature restoration made easy How do you enable people to grow their own food – locally, sustainably, and at unexpected places? The Starter Kit by @rewild.farming makes small-scale food initiatives possible, anywhere. Built from discarded shipping containers, the kit contains everything needed to start straight away: water, energy, storage, workspace, a kitchen and tools. The first Starter Kit is located on a squatted industrial site on the Fuutlaan in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Here, a local community is breathing new life into a piece of wasteland, as a place for nature restoration and sustainable food growing. Through a digital platform, several local initiatives collaborate and share knowledge and experience. Benjamin Onno Dikmans is a social and spatial designer working on practical solutions for a nature-inclusive society. He doesn’t believe in awareness alone, so he designs sustainable steps that people can take themselves. His aim is to create a world in which humans no longer dominate nature, but form part of a larger whole. Rewild Farming is a collaboration with designer Bram Vos and will be developed over the coming years into a growing international community. In collaboration with Bram de Vos Studio 📸 @anwyn.howarth Get your tickets and support the KDA 2026 via the link in bio!

Nominated for the Social Design Talent Award 2025: ‘rewild farming’ democratises urban agriculture by actively involving residents. Starter kits (a physical workshop housed in a repurposed shipping container) and a knowledge platform connect people with their food, ecosystems, and one another, encouraging them to collaboratively shape urban spaces in a sustainable and community-oriented way.

the last two months we have been blown away about all the delicious veggies from our garden. tomatoes have been coming in all varieties. courgettes having been coming in endless amounts and we have been happily surprised by our herb growth! harvesting will keep going in the coming time, but also hanging around with friends and learning from each other what the possibilities are for dishes and recipes. we have builded our first outdoor kitchen, which will grow for our events during @dutchdesignweeks . our space keeps expanding, we are more and more excited to keep developing our space and also very excited to keep growing our collective and keep learning from our backgrounds and cultures. the environment of food is always providing common ground to meet and to share. #rewildfarming #socialdesign #ecosystemregeneration #communitydriven #morethanhuman #naturecultures #regenerativeagriculture #climatecare #urbanfutures #designforecology #permaculture #collectiveaction #soilstories

presenting 'the starter kit' at the DAE graduation show in the garden of microstad; come by for a visit and chat.. ✨ heads up, we are looking for partners! thank you @designacademyeindhoven for 4 years of experiences, challenges and growth. completing the studies with gratitude for the community that makes our academy as extraordinary as it is and with special thanks to @thomaslommee , @moritzmariakarl , @lukas_wegwerth and @lucasmaassen who have been essential in guiding me through design explorations. project description: ____________________________ the 'starter kit' is a mobile workspace designed for ecosystem restoration and community-driven regenerative agriculture. by repurposing shipping containers and offering various modular elements - including workbenches, shelving, tool storage, a kitchen unit, power outlets, lighting, and an expandable scaffolding system - the 'starter kit' provides essential infrastructure for small-scale projects adaptable to the needs of local communities. the project is enhanced by a digital platform, which facilitates context-specific knowledge exchange between regenerative projects. rewild farming, an organisation formed by benjamin onno dikmans in collaboration with bram de vos, developed the 'starter kit' to bridge the gap between conceptual ecological awareness and practical implementation of resilient small-scale projects, contributing to the diversification of the agricultural sector. ____________________________ ✉️ text by @jeannettepetrik 📸 photo by nicole marnati

take-over by @rewild.farming 🌱 our vision as @rewild.farming has evolved from our starter kit as a laboratory of regeneration into an (re)claimed and activated space in the industrial area at spoor k. we're building more than just a garden - we're creating a model for urban/land transformation. through collective action and community involvement we are co-creating the new neighborhood park coming in 2030. we are facilitating space and infrastructure for communal gardening which is offering a bridge from local to institutional, connecting bottom-up to top down. bringing the voices of local businesses, residents and creatives to the table in activated ways. we're now expanding, and our next steps are: ° first and foremost building soil health and food production capabilities in our raised garden beds..! ° developing a 5-year plan with @soontiensnatuurlijkgroen for (re)claiming this urban space for a food productive ecosystem ° start our integration into @gemeente_eindhoven plans for spoorzone fuutlaan 2030 ° working towards DDW ‘25; presenting our organizations scaling strategy, hosting with our space at spoor k and exhibiting @designacademyeindhoven graduation show ° collaborate with @citriclabsxyz , @tueindhoven , @smartcitizenkit and the @fablabbcn on developing our network platform: a digital ecosystem connecting practitioners and sharing knowledge through merging of local ecological knowledge and digital technologies. join us; whether you have a green thumb or are just curious, there's always space for more hands and hearts in our garden — dm us for collaborations and come visit us at spoor k.. #rewild #restore #regenerate #permaculture #agriculture #community #transition #togetherness #dutchdesignweek #eindhoven #drivingdutchdesign #clubddd #dutchdesign #dutchdesigner #bno #cultuurfonds #creative #designer #designinspiration #designstudio #designyourbusiness
