Honestly, the @hunt.road 40CGR wheel set is my most used and most versatile set of hoops in my quiver. All the stuff on the tin is true, it’s light, stiff, aero, durable, all those buzzwords. Of all the wheels, it’s latest the longest under all of the training and racing I’ve done. If you could have one wheelset to do it all, this is it, honestly.
This is a love letter. To bikes, to San Francisco, to dedication and pursuit of big goals. AND TO PLAY! This was filmed within 3 square miles of city, on roads and trails I ride every day. In the midst of a busy life, the little things get lost and this project was a great reminder that at the end of the day, swinging a leg over the bike is the first step to an amazing world. When I moved to SF, people said, “you’re gonna love how much climbing there is”. To an extent, they were right. But it’s because all that climbing leads to some of the best descending I’ve ever had. @hrzntl_dropout and I got a rare clean run at the Pan Toll to Stinson drop and it was SO sick. My time as a @mosaiccycles rider has come to an end. As a team, we have done some pretty amazing things on these bikes. For two years in a row, we were the top ranked metal bike in the world with 10 UCI Cyclocross World Cups, 2 Lead Lap finishes, top 10 at Nationals and Pan Ams, 2x 2nd place Overalls in Grasshopper Adventure Series, and many more. A top these fast metal steeds, I banked 20,000 miles of riding in 10 countries. I want to thank Mosaic from the bottom of my heart for their belief in me and what we could accomplish.
