I spent the weekend covering Manchester Punk Festival in town. To say this is the most welcoming bunch of people you’d ever meet would be an understatement. Got to work amongst some super talented people, an incredible security team and a load of volunteers. It’s easy to see why this events gets the awards it does.
Mega weekend, mega music. More posts soon. Bring on next year!

I recently had the pleasure of covering the premiere of Beckie Taylor and Blue Caribou’s production The Sound Barrier over at Accenture.
A fascinating night and with a group of inspiring people!

Well, what a night that was!
For Stop Making Sense Live at the Albert Hall last week I produced and DOP’d a six camera setup with a live to screen connection, photographer and social media coverage.
I can’t wait to start sharing some of the content we got!
Thanks to Georgiana, Lewis, Rachel and Christina for being the best team!
Here’s a quick turnaround BTS edit from a recent shoot with @videovillagetv .
I went down to capture Video Village’s new SMPTE fibre system in action as they covered Wakefield Trinity v Leeds Rhinos live for @bbcsport
Great seeing fully rigged out @blackmagicnewsofficial kit out in the wild too!

“They want the ‘final’ version, but I’m still in my ‘creative exploration’ era.”

Asking a photographer for the edited photos while they’re still out shooting is like asking a chef for the steak while they’re still chasing the cow. Let’s let the magic happen first! 🥩✨😂
Earlier this year in Manchester.
I was commissioned by King’s House Conference Centre to photograph an event they were hosting.
The brief focused on venue imagery, capturing Andy Burnham, the in-house tech, and how the building works in use, alongside the main event photographer.
More from the year soon!
