A newly found eye-opening appreciation for life and for human beings. Not just the wonderful humans in my life. All humans. All living things. We are really just waking up every day, trying our damned best. I donāt even really get mad anymore. I just see past the bullsh*t and realize weāre all very precious living things trying to survive the absolute insanity this world throws at us. We donāt always succeed, but no one is perfect. I see you. I see you trying. And I love you.
Thank you to @quitwithchris and his program for fundamentally changing the way I think about alcohol (or these days, not think about it!), and for helping me live a life Iām monumentally proud of. What a crazy f**kinā year. I had some of the scariest days of my life, followed by the best days. That led to a monumental shift in what I value and how I viewā¦wellā¦everything. I quit drinking, which is kind of insane and awesome. Never thought I would, or could. I grew closer to my family and friends. Had the most successful year of my career yet. Made new friends. Started a YouTube channel which is slowly (but surely!) gaining some traction. And with everything going on, 2026 is shaping up to be even better.
This year, more than any other, I feel like I truly found myself and my place on this pale blue dot. Thank you to everyone who was a part of that. Love you all, sincerely.

My first go at astrophotography. These are the Deneb Star and the Adromeda Galaxy.
Shot on the Panasonic S1H at second base ISO of 4000, both a series of 20-30 shots at 10 second exposures. 85mm F2.8 lens.
Star Adventurer GTI tracking mount.
In the Angeles Mountains just outside the city, so still lots of light pollution and a bright moon also.
Still learning a lot but I enjoy how these first images came out.
