Incredibly excited to share the music video I shot for “Things Look Different Now” – the new single by my dear friend and deeply talented musician @_g.i.m.m.y_
Nothing is more inspiring than watching your close friends do what they truly love – especially when they do it really fucking well. I’m so proud of this crew for the insane work they've put into the album and I feel lucky as hell to be a part of it all.

I’m so stoked to finally share a project I’ve been working on for quite a while now. Dave is a staple in Raglan and he is incredibly special to me and a lot of other people in our tiny little town. Watching him work is an experience, his talent and knowledge around surfing is toxic, and his brain is usually working faster than he has time to explain. After two years, a lot of discussion, and 100 beers later, he finally let me film him.
If possible, please please click the link in my bio to watch this so it’s bigger than your phone. Or if you’re in the Northern Rivers area, the film will be premiering at @byronbayfilmfestival on October 29th. Hope you enjoy, description below.

“Dust” is an intimate look into surfing counterculture through the hands of an enigmatic contributor.
Dave Elley has been quietly shaping surfboards in Raglan, New Zealand for almost 30 years. Though his talent is widely recognized, he is seldom acknowledged. In an ego-centric industry, riddled with mediocrity and mass production, Dave is an anomaly – shaping only when inclined, not asked.
Although mostly invisible to me, there was a method to his madness. Hours spent in his tiny, fume-filled shed revealed a meticulous process that could only be achieved from a lifelong commitment to shaping.
A visual portrait of person and place — “Dust” explores the delicate balance of Dave’s work with the surrounding landscape.

A short film following my friend and neighbor Flynn, a staple of Point Reyes Station. If you’ve been, you’ve likely seen him effortlessly twirling through downtown, headphones on, lost in his music.

Launch campaign for @agronomyworkshop
I grew up playing golf and occasionally still do so this one was close to the heart. My homie @robjunge just launched an amazing brand and I was lucky enough to shoot the campaign for it. Shot on all film, all over San Francisco, on a very windy day.
