I’ve spent my career helping clients & friends launch their businesses, working on strategy, branding, concepts, marketing etc. I knew pretty early I wanted to do that for myself, but it took me 10 years to pull the trigger.
This year I quit my job to start @agronomyworkshop
With client work it was always a sprint towards launch day. As a designer, it’s when you can show off the project to the world, get recognition, get paid then move on. As a business owner, It’s day one.
It was confusing to see brands that had a successful launch end up not making it a few years later. That first big leap won’t make or break a business, it’s the small steps and improvements over time {insert overnight success adage}
Launching is easy, building a successful business is extremely difficult.
I’m building this business around a life–long sport that’s impossible to master. It’s defined by mistakes, setbacks and constant adjustments.
I’m hoping that’s the perfect reminder to be in it for the long game.
