I had an incredible weekend attending the @austcine 54th ACS National Awards for Cinematography 2024 in Brisbane! I was nominated for the short film @pasifikadrift and was so surprised to win the National Judges Merit Award! Thank you so very much to the ACS, the incredible cast and crew that went through a lot to make this film possible and a massive thank you to my family, friends and colleagues I'm so lucky to work with doing what I love! Matt Wallace has directed HIMSELF in his new short film, Agora (he’s been quoted as saying he’ll never work with himself again). Achieved in a single unbroken shot, the film is a darkly comic look at the unspoken rules that govern public space, and what happens when those rules start to break down. 🌱Earnest Progress Update! 💛 Our short film Earnest was conceptualised in 2020 and has grown each year with the unwavering love and dedication of the incredible crew members we’ve had the privilege to work with. Bringing Earnest to life has been a huge journey, and we are beyond grateful for every person who has donated, shared, and offered words of support along the way. Our post-production team has been working tirelessly, and we’re thrilled to share that we are closer than ever to completing the animation clean-up and colour, and moving into the final phases of post-production! Earnest will be out in the world soon, and we can’t wait to share it with you🫶🏽 Synopsis Earnest is a soft toy koala with long limbs and a velcro chest. Left alone in the bush with a fire on the way, he tries to attach himself to living things until he realises he is already connected to them.
