Well... That has to be one of the greatest nights of our entire lives. We don't really even know how to describe it. Florrie, our darling girl, was just incredible. She enjoyed every single second and absolutely owned that stage 😂😂. She was just amazing, as she always is. We lost track completely of how many people came to tell us how much they loved her. Freddie screamed louder than everyone in the room watching his little sister up there, he couldn't have been prouder of her, but we couldn't be prouder of them both. The guests in attendance at the awards were all just so lovely, taking so much time to make us all feel so special. To call it emotional might be downplaying it considerably 😂 but you cannot help but be completely inspired watching all of the other winners collect their awards and seeing their stories. We have met some of the most truly amazing people. An experience like no other. Thank you @prideofbritain They raised an INSANE amount of money to help @bemorefabccc Truly truly remarkable. Today, as part of Florrie’s physio, we did a walk in support of Henry, who is currently in America taking on an incredible challenge for @bemorefabccc … completing a marathon in all 50 states. 🇺🇸🧡 We are honestly so in awe of how hard he is working and the sacrifices he is making to support children and families affected by cancer. Florrie is working incredibly hard herself to rebuild her strength and fitness following her recent lung transplant, so today she wanted to do this walk thinking about Henry and everything he is putting himself through each day. Together, we walked the furthest she has managed in one go so far… all the way around the block. Every step was spent thinking about Henry completing mile after mile, day after day, for children like Florrie. We wanted, in our own little way, to put ourselves in his shoes too. Henry, keep going. Hi everyone 🧡 We want to make sure as many people as possible know about what @henryoscarmoores is doing right now for @bemorefabccc . He is currently in America taking on an unbelievable challenge. Running a marathon in every state. So far, he has completed 13 marathons in just 14 days. It is hard to even take that in. This is not just running. It is constant travel, very little sleep, moving from place to place, and being away from home for over 50 days. All to support children and families facing cancer. We are incredibly proud of him. Henry raised so much for the charity last year, and once again he is pushing himself to the absolute limit for others. After years of being fully dependent on her wheelchair or being carried, last week Florrie walked the long path to Grandma and Grandad’s house all on her own. We can’t put into words what this moment meant to all of us. Watching her slowly gain her independence back is everything. A milestone that once felt so far away, now happening step by step. All because of the incredible gift of life she has been given. You might have seen Florence and I on This Morning today, sharing a little update 🥰 We’re so grateful to This Morning for their continued support, it means the world to us as a family. Florence loves being part of the This Morning family and her visits and chats mean so much to her. It was so lovely catching up with Cat and Ben 😊. By seeing someone like Florence on TV, it sparks important conversations about childhood cancer, stem cell and organ donation and that is our mission. Without these selfless donations, Florence and so many others wouldn’t be here to tell their stories. We really hope that next time This Morning invite us on the show that Florence will be able to walk into the studio herself. Everyday since Florence’s transplant I sit and think about how life has and will change for us. Today after two years Florence's oxygen canisters and compressor got picked up and taken away, hopefully forever. This is only the beginning 🥹. Without Florence's donor, this never would of happened. Without them we wouldn't have a future🥺🤍. Today is Florence’s beautiful friend Evelyn’s birthday. She would have been 8 years old today so Florence wore yellow for her 💛. @henryoscarmoores is at it again… and he's taken things to a whole new level. Last year, Henry walked from Manchester to Ibiza in a pair of flip flops for Bemorefab Children's Cancer Charity, raising nearly £70,000 including gift aid. An absolutely extraordinary effort that so many of you got behind. This year? He's completing a marathon in every single one of the 50 states of America!! He has already started. In his first 7 days he has completed a marathon in New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Seven states. Seven marathons. One week. Next up, Ohio! We are so incredibly proud of Henry. He is a machine, and every single step he takes means the world to families going through childhood cancer.
