Thank you to @mexamcef for the tribute and honor of presenting @enriquecastilloofficial with the Lifetime Acheivement award. A career which started at @elteatrocampesino which led to playing the lead role in the Play Zoot Suit; to his first movie in which he starred alongside the great Charles Bronson; to working with Greg Nava on the film El Norte and Mi Familia where he played memo. He was then selected by Oscar winning director Taylor Hackford in @bloodinbloodoutboundbyhonor who gave him the role of Montana. Then he was cast n the quirky and long running TV series Weeds! But he also created his own projects including the play Veteranos: A Legacy of Valor touring across the country. He also directed and led many performances across the county of Alfredo Ramos’s “Last Angry Brown Hat” and his current project, the documentary @uglylittlemonkeys . Thank you @pepefied11 for the heartfelt introduction and your friendship for so many years. Yes. A lifetime of projects and with a focus with the mission of elevating Latino Stories. I got hooked on Imperfect Women on Apple TV...and I was lucky to interview the amazing Ana Ortiz (if you saw "Devious Maids" and "Ugly Betty"...you know her talent) so I got more insight into the series.
Tomorrow is the season finale of Imperfect Women. I totally binged the show and now cant wait to see the finale..
