This month marks our 4th year of BELOW - looking back at some of the projects we’ve accomplished over that time has been eye opening for both of us, it’s crazy to see how much we’ve grown and experienced
I never would have thought when we started this we’d be managing projects with 40+ crew, dangling out of helicopters, travelling overseas to festivals, or working in some of the most remote locations in NZ
Thankyou thankyou thankyou to everyone who’s entrusted us to help work on your project, we work with an amazing team in-house as well as subcontractors and we wouldn’t be anywhere without our diverse and extensive team

CORTIS - ‘FaSHioN’ Official Music Video
A few months back we were asked by BANGJAEYEOB and their Korean directors, producers, DOP and production team to help bring BIGHIT’s newest K-Pop group, Cortis, to life here in NZ. What followed was the wildest 5 weeks of our careers so far - working with the very best of NZ’s crew, permitting, and production. For me personally, it soaked up every ounce of my energy and time over an entire month, and I know many of our crew were the exact same
Some fun highlights & stats now that the dust has settled - 38 work visas, 12 locations, 6 production days, 2 road closures, 70 crew on our biggest day, 3 helicopters, 3 wrecked cars, 1 glacier, 1 million views in 10 hours and number 12 on the global Youtube charts
I am honestly in awe with the flexibility, expertise and work ethic of the NZ crew that were pulled into this whirlwind, mountains were moved to make this shoot happen in such a small timeframe, we all know how hard productions in NZ can be, especially working with an international production team, and being able to look at some of these shots knowing they were filmed in our backyard is extremely fulfilling. Big ups to everyone involved, I owe so many people a bottle of wine

MARIBOU STATE ON 35MM FILM
Had the opportunity to shoot for @mariboustate over new years entirely on 35mm film. It’s been a while since I’ve shot commercially on film so was super refreshing to jump back into it and capture these moments

2025 has easily been one of our biggest years, presenting some of the most challenging, unique and rewarding projects to date.
We had projects across the world, in the UK, Korea, Fiji & Australia. We took over the Auckland Domain with Redbull, flew three helicopters up Mount Cook, managed crews of up to 72 people, produced a live broadcast in Fiji, got flown by Richie Macaw in a helicopter, kitted out by the Levi’s AUNZ crew, covered countless events in New Zealand and overseas, moved into our new office and most importantly formed so many new connections with clients and creatives alike - it feels like it’s time for a break (for Taylor and John, Matt is working through his holiday as per usual) 😮💨
THANK YOU to our clients who have trusted and worked with us this year & to the crews who have supported us throughout the year on our projects big and small.
We’ve managed to squeeze some of our favourite moments into two minutes, some easter eggs in there for those who can make it to the end!
