Went swimming at Meadowbrook Pool for the first time since I was in 6th grade. This was where all the Summit K-12 kids swam once a week. It just so happened we had to wait out a thunderstorm first since apparently even indoor pools are magnets to get struck by lightening! Who knew...

Update #4: This smile is well-earned. I've avoided posting current pics of myself since I got sick simply because I don't feel like myself. My plan was to go back to work a couple days this month, but I had a set-back and alas was not able. Once again, my amazing mother, Angela Marie Fava is taking care of me. She is a God-send and my biggest blessing on this journey. Another big blessing is my sister-cousin Catrina White Elder for encouraging me and supporting me each day. I shared in my last post that were 10, 000 short of our goal. After a donation from St. Vincent de Paul, and additional Venmo donations, we are $9,200 short. Update 3: Just wanted to stop by and send a huge thank you to all those who have taken the time to share my story, and some of you to share their own story in return. It turns out that however uncomfortable it is to share, I am far from alone. I continue to be surprised by the amount of kindness, grace, and generosity I've received. As for my health, it is continuing to improve, by the grace of God, but I am still a ways from being able to work. Due to this fact, i continue to pay insurance put of pocket, and rent out out of savings. I am actively seeking rental assistance, but so far I haven't qualified. If you know of any rental assistance opportunities, please send them my way! I will continue to update, and please feel free to keep in touch. Like, share, and comment, it all matters!
