my curiosity for the wacky tech we can run on our pc nowadays made me want to make this video in the first place - processing and relighting photogrammetry, using weird AI tools without any paid cloud services and rather locally with my own GPU, building 3D scenes from scratch, generating depth maps from video footage

“An accident forces ballet dancer Miro to reconsider his career—and with it, his entire identity. Lost and aimless, he drifts through everyday life until a chance encounter offers him new hope. Introduced to the queer community, he discovers a space where everyone can grow and express themselves without judgment or limitations.”
Helping to shoot this short in summer 2023 has been a big learning experience for me. Most of my projects involve less than 6 people but this was different. It was intense, anxiety inducing but most of the time so much fun and addictive to work together with so many talented people. I am still grateful for this opportunity - although I never really considered myself a “DoP”, this was the role assigned to me for this project and I loved it. I was and I still am insecure about so many things in life but working together with a queer team really helped me to be more honest to myself and feel safe and heard in this community.
