Join us on Sunday 24 May 2026 for an evening of games and talks about rewiring potentials and resisting the default option. [untitled games event] #5: “strange brew” Sunday 24 May 2026 1630-1900 Tussen de Bogen 46 Amsterdam 1013JB --- The six works in [untitled games event] edition #5 upend the templates and flip the scripts. They refuse the map and reject the territory, suggesting counterintuitive approaches that take us somewhere new, somewhere surprising. 1️⃣ "A Permanent Echo" (@threemoreyears_studio ) is a game about piecing together how we will remember (and judge) the decisions that shape our future. 2️⃣ "Yuha’s Nightmares" (@yuhas.nightmares ) unleashes glitches as horror, but also presents glitches as escape. 3️⃣ Is it possible to combine a lecture and live-action role-playing? Together with @janarom , we'll find out! Learn what larp is and how it is practiced today in contemporary art while playing someone who's attending the lecture... and maybe has different expectations about it. 4️⃣ @nomadstudio.io will treat us to "Wyvern Tales", an epic work of homebrew magic and the first old-school RPG for the Atari Lynx. 5️⃣ Riekelt Goucem from the Benelux Speedrunner Gathering (BSG) will talk about videogame speedrunning and how the BSG built its extraordinary community. And finally, visit 6️⃣ "The Oracle for Transfeminist Technologies" (@codingrights ), a divination card deck joining us from the future. We can’t wait to see you all and experience these works together. (📷: photo 4 is "Dreamhouse, iii, The Hague", image by Helena Roig)

Join us on Sunday 19 April 2026 for an evening of games and talks about tending, caring, growing, and mutating. [untitled games event] #4: "tend and befriend" Sunday 19 April 2026 1630-1900 (new start time!) Tussen de Bogen 46 Amsterdam 1013JB --- The five works in [untitled games event] edition #4 are all spaces for growth, change and understanding. They are gardens to tend to, playgrounds to explore, offices to break into, or exercises in imagining better futures. 1️⃣ "Data Garden" is a single-button game about building a reflection of your digital self that knows more about you than yourself. 2️⃣ "Welcome to Approx AI!" considers how you might destroy that digital self, and explores the complexities of modern-day activism. 3️⃣ "Curiosmos" is a cosmic sandbox where you design a solar system from the ground up. 4️⃣ "Time Flies" is a little adventure about big plans and making the most of our limited time in this world. 5️⃣ "Reworlding Ramallah" is a collection of short science-fiction stories from Palestine. Editor @copycopley will present the book, and talk about how gameplay, collaborative storytelling, and worldbuilding exercises can be powerful tools to imagine decolonial futures. We can’t wait to see you all and experience these works together.

Join us on Sunday 22 March 2026 for an evening of games and talks about hopeful optimism in the service of bottomless longing. [untitled games event] #3: "secret handshake" Sunday 22 March 2026 1700-1900 Tussen de Bogen 46 Amsterdam 1013JB --- The seven(!) works in [untitled games event] edition #3 are all "one half of a secret handshake" - asserting possibilities of solidarity and escape in a world (seemingly) built from the materials of solitude. 1️⃣ Something to Reach For by Outer Plays A short work of gestural poetry about losing something important to you. Creators Joanna and Eszter will be present for a micro-talk. 2️⃣ Pigeon: A Love Story by Wristwork A uge world premiere, with a special "Amsterdam" demo build! Be a pigeon and soar above the city in this needle-in-a-haystack sim that's about nothing and everything. 3️⃣+ 4️⃣ @jingtong_zhu presents a special talk on the games Get Yoked and Please Don’t Feed Me, asking: “What does the perfect body look like?” 5️⃣, 6️⃣-7️⃣ Designer Ramon Huiskamp @roofkatgames will present a collection of three evocative solo card games with themes of escape and revolution. Please help us spread the word! We can’t wait to see you all and experience these works together ❤️

Join us on Sunday 15 February 2026 for an evening of games and talks that ask how we might live in this aching world with more attunement, care, and courage. [untitled games event] #2: tender interval Sunday 15 February 2026 1700-1900 Tussen de Bogen 46 Amsterdam 1013JB --- The four works in [untitled games event] edition #2 invite us to look beyond the borders of the individual to find new orientations, both to ourselves and to the spaces that surround us: • Benches @plaatje.hpgl A work of lyrical grace about our daily urban encounters, and an "open letter" to the municipality of Rotterdam. • Plum Road Tea Dream @samuel__baidoo A radiant queer autobiography of connection, introspection and healing. • LINKS by Team DPC A card game that creates space for confrontation and empathy around the climate crisis. • How a Body Sounds by Yami Kurae An eerie exploration game for the Gameboy Color that attunes us to the haunted psychogeography of cities. Games and conversations from 1700 onwards. Talks at 1745. We can’t wait to see you all and experience these works together! --- Help us spread the word! Bring beverages and snacks to share. You’re also welcome to bring along your own games or prototype for others to play 👾

Hello! We're excited to invite you to a trial run of [Untitled Games Event], a new Amsterdam-based space for experimental games and playable arts.👾 This will be a monthly 'book club' of sorts for games and conversations about play, sometimes organized around a theme. It'll always be a small, cozy, relaxed Sunday evening - with games to play, talks and workshops to hear, conversations to join, and drinks + snacks to share. We're keen on building a community of people wanting to explore new ways of playing together, present hard-to-classify tactile, physical, collaborative and other hybrid games, and interrogate the medium's possibilities in more complex, politically engaged ways. On Sunday the 18th, we get together for the first time to play a few selected experimental works, and share our ideas for this space and community. We'd love to see you there. Sunday 18 Jan 2026 5-7PM free + byob Tussen de Bogen 46 1013JB Amsterdam (canal side through the gate)

My videogame, "Don't Get Your Hopes Up", comes out in one week: Tue Sep 16! It is a short interactive experience about housing shortage and horror in architecture. A wayward history of Amsterdam that has evaded archival capture and lurks at the edges of collective memory. A weird, disquieting non-fiction videogame whose horror is all-too-relevant anywhere in the world. Free to play on Steam, and pay-what-you-want on itch.io. I would love for all of you to try it out and leave a review if you can, or share with someone who might resonate with it. 💜 🎚️ The game features music by @sf_xmq and @neighboursburningneighbours - please support their work! I'm also deeply humbled to reveal that the game is an official selection for the Aesthetica Game Lab at @asffestival , and for the 2025 Game Devs of Color Expo @gdocexpo . Being at GDoC is a dream - to even think that making a game was possible for someone like me is a direct result of the spaces they've built. Thank you @aprilsoetarman @lee.beckw for encouraging me to apply, and shoutouts to @sfpc.study and my lovely Narrative Constellations classmates, where the idea for Hopes took shape. 💜💜 🔗 Store links in bio 🕹️ Playtime: 40-60 minutes 🆓 Free on Steam, PWYW on itch (email me if you want to avoid these platforms) 🎮 Steam Deck-compatible 🙏🏽 Any reviews, ratings, wishlists or shares appreciated

Stay for a workshop on making your own documentary videogames, and share your new creations over drinks and conversation. RSVPs recommended. 👉🏽Dm to RSVP your spot (5 euro with one drink included) — Don’t Get Your Hopes Up, by Krish Raghav @beijingbrown Don’t Get Your Hopes Up is an upcoming videogame about housing shortage and horror in architecture. Based on desperate apartment searches undertaken in 2022 and 2024, and drawing from a half decade of conversations about Amsterdam’s “woningnood”, the game moves between fiction, documentary, and social commentary. With disquiet and creeping unease, it dismantles the consoling fictions of abundance, and laments a feeling of home that’s always just beyond reach. ——— Krish will also be leading a workshop on the eerie power of documentary videogames and how to make your own interactive non-fiction work. We’ll be exploring tools, theories, and weird little game engines ✨ expect to leave with your very first videogame. 👉🏽No technical skills are needed. Bring your laptops. Stay for drinks and conversations after.
