Spotted at @costco : our mission on the shelves. 💛
I recently visited my local Costco and found some of the campaign products featuring @childrensmiraclenetwork National Champions.
During the month of May, Costco shoppers can support Children’s Miracle Network by donating at the register, with or without a purchase. Funds support the local children’s hospital, helping raise urgently needed funds for care, programs and resources when they are needed most.
Every balloon, every Champion story and every donation helps make big change for all kids.
@adamdevine shared a powerful perspective during Elevate about how humor helped him find his footing after a childhood accident. It was a meaningful reminder that in high-pressure environments, leaders often strip away the fun to appear more serious. We believe this is a mistake.
We are leaning into Joy Amplification. This means using technology to prioritize human connection: allowing tools to handle documentation so clinicians can focus on eye contact and conversation with families. It also means meeting people where their passion lives. Our @extralife4kids movement raised 12.5 million dollars last year by turning gaming into a force for good. 💛
Children’s hospitals are different by design. Because they are built for kids receiving care, they must be built for joy. 💛
How are you amplifying joy this week? @childrensmiraclenetwork
Mission in motion: @sdsustateathon at South Dakota State University. 💛
Seth, one of our National Campus Programs Managers, traveled to South Dakota State University to celebrate twenty-five years of students fundraising for @sanfordhealth .
This community has now raised more than 2 million dollars for their local children’s hospital. It is a milestone built by years of student leadership, creativity and heart.
It was a pleasure to learn that Seth also connected with local champions Jack, Barrett and Boden. Seeing how much they have grown over the years is truly inspiring. It reminds us that when we unite for children’s healthcare, we are building brighter futures for everyone.
Thank you, Seth, for showing up for this community and helping move our mission forward. @sanfordhealthfoundation
Women’s leadership is about elevating what is possible for all. 💛
I recently joined fellow @childrensmiraclenetwork colleagues at the @utwomenlead ElevateHER Award Luncheon in Utah. This gathering focused on supporting, promoting and retaining women in business.
It was meaningful to stand alongside leaders from our team who are committed to creating space for more voices, more perspectives and more opportunities to lead. I value these moments to learn, connect and continue cultivating workplaces where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
Still thinking about this incredibly meaningful gift from Dr. Dana Braner and Lindsey Klinger at Elevate. Khovny’s @ohsudoernbecher Freestyle @nike V2K Run is a beautiful reminder that our work is about so much more than shoes.
Khovny’s design is full of creativity and heart, from details reflecting her own journey to the friendship bracelet honoring her brother, Ryan. Knowing her story makes this gift even more special. I’m grateful for the compassion and imagination behind initiatives like this. They show what is possible when we give kids the chance to share their stories and help make big change for all kids.
This month, we had the privilege of joining partners and hospital leaders from around the country at the annual @childrensmiraclenetwork Elevate Conference — and the highlight came when our very own Dr. Dana Braner was selected from leaders at 170 CMN hospitals to receive the 2026 CMN US Impact Award, honoring his unwavering dedication to pediatric healthcare. 🏆 Seeing his leadership celebrated on a national stage was a proud moment for all of us.
The celebration didn’t stop there... CMN President and CEO Aimee Daily (@behindtheballoon ) took the stage wearing Khovny’s Doernbecher Freestyle 21 sneakers as she introduced Dr. Braner’s award, sharing Khovny’s NICU journey, the #DBFreestyle program in partnership with @nike , and the powerful impact it continues to have on kids and families. 👟⚕️
Dr. Braner’s influence on children’s health is felt every single day at Doernbecher, and this recognition reflects the heart he brings to his work. He also presented during a conference session on philanthropic investment in pediatric care — earning a standing ovation. 👏 And of course, @dogsofdoernbecher Darby was right there to cheer him on.
Moments like these — when Doernbecher’s stories, people, and programs are recognized nationally — speak to the extraordinary community that makes this hospital so special. 💞
Happy National Pet Therapy Day! 🐾
One of my favorite parts of visiting children’s hospitals is getting to meet the furriest members of the care team. The comfort, calm and joy these therapy animals bring to kids receiving care and their families is so significant.
Sometimes it is the smallest moments that mean the most. I am sending lots of love today to the therapy animals and handlers who help make hard days a little lighter. I hope your favorite therapy pet gets a few extra ear scratches today too!
Together, we can make big change, for all kids. 💛
Mission in motion in Seattle. 💛
Chelsey Crowne, our National Extra Life Manager, and and Jeffrey Montegut, our Director of Extra Life, spent three days connecting with @extralife4kids partners, community members and hospital leaders, and every stop reflected the creativity and heart behind this program.
