Session with @nikki_beattie_ifbbpro this morning and PB-ed across the board. A wee bit proud of myself and big thanks to this doll for pushing me to a bit of self belief. AND getting the steps in consistently at the moment!

Where has a year gone? @cathedralquarterartsfest opens tomorrow evening and unusually, on a Wednesday. And it’s stuffed with loads of goodies from music of different genres, to theatre, podcasts, book launches, walking tours and oodles more! GET IN THERE!!

Once done, I was heading over to Vic Square across Cornmarket when I spotted this one #GarethMylesGreenfield being photographically shot by the fab @collettecreative and we seriously hugged it out amid excited squeals! Haven’t seen both of these beauts in ages! They are the bizz…pink to make the boys wink ;) @grandgareth

Today was beautiful, not as warm as yesterday but got the steps in well - almost 14k. With the crappy weather it was hard getting out the door, never mind staying out long enough to walk for a while. Walked down to peakbody_larne and did a short but heavy leg session to see how my hip was holding - it held.

9 years ago mum was re-united with dad. I was looking through a host of memories in a handbag and came across a silver locket I had given her many years before she left - this was it. I think I want to say that I understand her more now, as a mum and granny myself, and I wish I knew it when she was with us. Maybe we could have connected easier. 9 years though, I definitely miss her in a lot of ways and wish that she could have experienced her great grandchild, yet glad she missed other experiences. 😢
PS dad looked grumpy in this, he actually was rarely so.
I have been busting to share these! Taylor and I met 3 years ago (almost to the day) as she was our #artistinresidence2023 We just clicked and have worked together at least twice a year (sometimes more) ever since. As I have said previously, the ideas we start with are seldom what we finish with. Originally this was to be a forest session… well THAT didn’t happen :) And I absolutely love what we got, and I love that she trusts me with off the wall ideas as I do her :) We just get each other. There will be a Part 2 to this as I hate mixing portrait and landscape images….

Tuesday craic with #prideandprejudice but not as we know it :) Wee photo all with @samhunter_official and @clara_mullan for a production of the above. Had a cracking shoot with the cast a few weeks back in @theriverroomsbelfast to promote the show which is happening in @thewaterfrontstudio from 7-9th May. Should be a goody!!!
