Chewing Gum is back in stock! âĄď¸
I donât have any gigs coming up to flog these, BUT I do know Chewing Gum makes an amazing Xmas prezzie for the Grease (and Grease 2) fan in your life.
Exploring sexuality, gender and re-inventing identity, Chewing Gum draws on real life trivia and âoff-screenâ elements to recreate a narrative enriched with queer history. Chewing Gum gives closure to those left on the ground as Greased Lightinâ disappears into the sky.

Punk, Poetry & Pegging đЎ
Poetry for the pubs, the people, the weirdos, the misfits and the workers. Poetry for the rebels, the outliers, the activists and the queers. Poetry on the mic, on the streets, on the page, on the toilet walls. Poetry to reach, to play, to cure, to not feel alone.
Thanks @eastonpunkfestival for having us! What a weekend! X
INFO & ACCESS!
Who are we?
The Proletariat Pegging Posse is a loose collective of punk / working class / queer poets: 1990s Chris, Malaika Kegode, Bridget Hart and TS Idiot.

OPEN MIC! The first half of the night weâll open up the stage to anyone who wants to share a poem or 2. Sign up on arrival.
We always aim for a funny, weird, tender time, with full 20 mins sets from everyone. As poets, we write from our lived experiences and some of the material we share may be sensitive, everyone is free to step out if they need to.
Each Punk, Poetry & Pegging event concludes with a DJ set by Chips & Beans - a mix of queer pop, punk and chaotic bangers.
Do I have to pay?
No itâs free! But you can donate, Easton Punk Festival are raising money for several different organisations and you can find out details through their channels.
Merch?
Weâll be flogging our books and zines etc on the night.

The Chelsea has step free and wheelchair access through the back gate and a wheelchair accessible toilet. The main toilets are gender neutral. Ear plugs are available behind the bar if needed!

A rare day at work going to see some exhibitions at Hayward Gallery at the Southbank.
Threads of Life by Chiharu Shiota is an immersive exhibition of overwhelming intricacies and depth. I absolutely loved walking through her installations like getting lost in the mind. Cried.
Yin Xiuzhenâs Heart to Heart is a painstaking fete of dedication. Incredible use of discarded clothing to show Beijingâs culture underneath âthe factory of the worldâ.
Went to kplayground, got in the Photo Booth, snapped RMâs autograph on the wall and had incredible bibimbap at Little Korea in Soho.
Hayfever hit like a truck to the face, did not enjoy. London, Iâm always allergic to you but you have the best stuff.
Thanks to my work bestie @garoess and @immersivearts_uk for a great day! x
Weâre baaaaaackâŚ. đĄď¸

A hard landing into January, the dark month, grief szn and the world is getting worse, the suffering and death is insurmountable and I am so privileged to have moments of rest and peace.
Iâve learnt that showing up isnât always being on a front line, being visible, being shouldered aside by men looking for a fight. It is meaningful solidarity and engagement, itâs compassion so deep it makes you feel sick. It is speaking up unprompted in a room and being anti-fascist in all areas of your life.
Rest if you can, this yearâs another big fight.
