Fed up with traveling, airports, rising costs and generally trashing the planet? Ironically, I’m writing this post on the first ( and hopefully only) long haul flight I’m taking this year to combine attending Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Festival with visiting family including my Aunty Shelagh - she adapted to WhatsApp in my absence but it’s not as good as a hug.
