Been ~attempting~ to play this instrument for 5ish years now and feel it’s time i submit to my piano diary (publicly because nothing is sacred anymore). Please excuse my awful technique and bad habits, at this point they’re beyond salvaging 1. 2025, shitty rendition of the song that plays in Bella’s truck in the second twilight movie 2. 2024, something I made up (one of my favorites for some reason) 3. 2024, another thing I made up but was told it sounds like la la land so maybe I stole it idk 4. 2022, another thing I made up/improv’d at my first apartment in New York 5. 2022, once again manufactured in the mind 6. 2021 (summer right after I got laid off), theme from Minari (beautiful score by @emilemosseri ) on my dads old ass piano we got for free and nobody ever played 7. 2021, desperado by the eagles a week after I had open shoulder surgery and two weeks before I moved to New York, last thing I played on this piano 8. Jan 1, 2021, what are you doing new years eve at 1 in the morning while @sydsat and @mtf118 put away dishes (right after they fell in love for the second time ❤️) 9. April 2020, a feeble attempt at happy birthday in my first apartment in San Francisco, shortly after the pandemic hit and I decided I should probably keep myself busy 10. 2024, Easter egg if anyone makes it this far, singing a julia jacklin song and playing poorly because it’s meant for guitar and I still can’t sing and play at the same time
