✨ The journey of the Consequences Giant ✨
Back in May, as part of
@naturecalling25 , over 200 of us walked the Cerne Abbas hillsides, gathering natural materials to create a new giant together – a myth of belonging, healing and nature for our times.
Remember the game of Consequences? One person draws the head, folds it over, then passes it on until a whole new creature is revealed. We played this on a giant scale – each group creating a different part of our mythical giant:

💫 Heart: Yeovil Together & Refugees/Asylum Seekers
💫 Legs: able2achieve & Lufton College
💫 Feet: Birchfield Primary School
From Cerne Abbas to Summerhouse Hill, where communities sang “Together we are Giant, Together we are Strong”, to standing resplendent at Corfe Castle with thousands watching & listening to
@douglasdare ’s powerful composition – the Consequences Giant carried our shared story across landscapes.
🌱 At its heart, this project gave space for communities to immerse themselves in the hillside – its history, flora, fauna and beauty – and to gather in communal consciousness.
As in the game, the Giant spoke powerfully because all the parts were honoured. The care and connections we created will keep sustaining us. 💚
Huge thanks to our team, partners, funders, and the incredible communities who made the Consequences Giant possible. Together, we’ve created a new myth for our times – one ready to keep travelling. 🌍✨
