Excited to share this special project for @adobe & @frame_io 🙌🎥 The Camera to Cloud team wanted to make something extra memorable to celebrate three new major camera partners joining the C2C family (WELCOME Leica, Nikon, and Canon!). So we answered the call making it a busy busy summer for the ProdSquad. Proud of our incredible team that goes above and beyond on everything they touch, always remembering to laugh, stay joyous, and, of course, throw in a tumbleweed now and then. Co-directed, a little bit of ATV acting, and EP’d by yours truly! 🚀

It’s hard to sum up what I do in stills or video. As a producer a lot of my job is taking creative dreams and making them possible realities. This year had some of the hardest creative challenges to solve for…So I thought I’d be a fun exercise to summarize some of the top sequences/shots I’m most proud to have ‘pulled off’ with the @frame_io team. 1. A built from scratch gas station, 3 different vintage vehicles, 5 major product announcements, big ole crane, custom built living rooms & editing suites and lots of tech to try for the first time while also filming it. 2. Our first foray into filming air to air aerials with the @vspeed.us team. Portland, planes, a producer’s paradise :) 3. For the launch of @reddigitalcinema first in camera C2C integration we built a NYC rooftop on an LED wall with snow to highlight off-speed frame rates shooting directly to the cloud. 4. This interview of JD Dillard of @devotionmovie . We got over 350 individual carpet tiles to cover up a hideous outdated neon orange pattern carpet. A surprise project, with a short timeline, and literal hands and knees team tiling the over the carpet. Oh and all the lamps and plants from my house I could fit in my truck. 5. Crane, Roller Skaters, Tricks, Skate Park, Stunts. Duh. 6. Filmed @themetphilly it was so fun to creatively solve how we brought elements of the @newworldsfilm into the telling of how it was made. Creatively it doesn’t feel like much, but the stool, the book, the roses, the location all came together to open this piece so beautifully. It isn’t always expensive toys or big sets but creative little wins I love. 7. For the Adobe Max on stage announcement we captured an ‘authentic auth’ from a RED V Raptors XL in 1 long take with so many small contingencies I was literally on edge of my seat. Each of these projects takes an army of hard working creative people coming together. @alissa_rooney gets to look badass and cool next to her camera builds, and a mere few feet away, a producer can be found looking way less cool glued to their phone or laptop. Been a grind of a 2022 for @frame_io happy and busy 😎😋

This is a project of two sentimental curio collectors. Appreciators of history, design, and culture—and true believers in the objet trouvé (the found object: the thing that wasn’t made to be beautiful or significant, but turns out to be both). We’re here to catalogize the details of antiquity in a digital space where your little eyeballs are scrolling anyway. Stop and enjoy the color palettes, the intricate designs, the printing errors, the tiny bits of history, and the stories they tell. This stuff is cool and deserves to be seen. In an effort to get through our massive catalog and share as many novelties with you as possible, we do use AI to help with our workflow of research and archiving. AI makes mistakes, and we encourage you to correct us. The photographs, the design, and the ephemera, however, are very, very deeply human.
