Set within the stunning Italian Gardens at The House, six beautifully styled stationary hot air balloons have been transformed into enchanting floral sanctuaries, celebrating the beauty of the British summer in full bloom. 🌹☀️
Designed in collaboration with Summerill & Bishop, the immersive experience invites guests to dine surrounded by nature, romance and open skies. 🌄🥰
Each private balloon hosts up to four guests for an extraordinary four-course dining journey curated by Executive Development Chef Wojciech Popow. The menu showcases vibrant Japanese flavours, from a delicate tartar platter and seasonal salad to an interactive open-flame Yakiniku barbecue, finished with a striking Origami Matcha Pudding. Garden-inspired cocktails complete the experience. 🥘🔥🍹

#Beaverbrook 🚀 @beaverbrook remains one of the great English country house escapes: discreet, storied and impossibly well placed among the folds of the Surrey Hills. Once the home of Lord Beaverbrook, newspaper magnate, Churchill confidant and the minister credited with accelerating Spitfire production during the Second World War, the estate still carries the polish of its political and cultural past.
Across The House, The Village, The Garden House and The Coach House, heritage is balanced with a distinctly modern ease. Sir Frank Lowe’s curatorial hand runs throughout, from museum-worthy interiors to Gerhard Richter’s monumental Abdu tapestry hanging quietly in the lobby.
We stayed in the Ian Fleming suite, occupied by Fleming during his stays at Beaverbrook, a suave nod to Bond’s creator, complete with a Terry O’Neill portrait of Roger Moore.
Dinner at @thefujigrill moved from Beaverbrook omakase nigiri and “The Jellyfish” rice noodles to koji monkfish and Galician chateaubriand, before midnight martinis at Sir Frank’s Bar as another nod to Fleming.
Breakfast overlooked the ponds, afternoons disappeared between the library and the Coach House Spa, and lunch at The Garden House stretched easily into the countryside.
Beaverbrook is an estate where British intrigue, art and aristocratic escapism still feel entirely intact. Thank you to the entire teams at the estate, and beyond, for an unforgettable escape.
