What was once @beaujameswilding has metamorphosed into food for the Wyrm. I have been considering changing to a band name for quite some time, but a mentor recently pushed me over the edge to do so. This change reflects a change in the evolution of my musical art to be moving away from singer-songwriter feel and solo artist vibe and entering into a darker, heavier sound that is better presented under the umbrella of a band name. Based on a line from Mary Shelley‘s Frankenstein, food for the worm is what we will all become. The clock is ticking. Don’t waste your time.

Starting the conversation about scales. They’re not just for dragons anymore. Play with it and see if you can discern by ear the difference between a half step, a whole step or even 3 half steps!

Let’s do some rock ‘n’ roll! Looking at Southern California in June and northern regions in late June/late July. Open to suggestion for good opportunities though. Would love to collaborate with other cool bands doing cool stuff with positive attitudes. Cheers! #westcoastmusic #livemusic #diymusic #undergroundmusic
One bite at a time. Let’s understand Music together. A scale is a collection of notes that relates to a key or a chord. We’ll get into more specific scales later on, but I just wanted to emphasize that a scale is nothing more than a prescribed collection of notes that happens to fit well with certain keys, certain chords or certain modes or feeling tones in music. A scale is not a jail just a roadmap that generally works well for playing in particular keys. Just like the journey home, you can diverge from the map and get creative as long as it feels right to you. #music #beginningmusictheory #musictheory #beginningguitar
