This Is My Serious Posting Face But Don’t Let The Expression Fool You: I am very excited to be reading at @sasfest once again !! 😍 What’s AMAZING about this year is YOU have a chance to hear me read TWICE. 👼🏼👼🏼👼🏼 You will first have an opportunity at 8pm on Saturday March 28th, where I will be reading alongside some brilliant local talent, such as @scribblepost and @bradrichard1382 , and some brilliant out of towner talent, such as @thevanishingman WOW isn’t that awesome? That will be in the Riverview Room on the top floor of Hotel Monteleone (come for the views, stay for the verses) 🎉🎉🎉 Then you will also have an opportunity to see me read again on Sunday, mid day I presume, with probably some more amazing talented people (more info to come about that, 👁️Watch This Space👁️). That will also be somewhere in the glittering gleaming bowels of Hotel Monteleone. Another year of mostly poems, pals, landscapes, and Osito!
In no particular order: I cracked my head in Costa Rica, got food poisoning in a small southwest Texas town, bought a house in the mountains, passed my MFA comprehensive exams, finished the first draft of my poetry thesis, read a lot of cool books, started working at the University of New Orleans Press where I then copyedited a full length novel that’s coming out in May, adopted a cat, and William said he’s gonna get me a fish tank for Christmas so I’ve got my fingers crossed for that okay see y’all next year where I will then resume posting probably mostly about poetry, poems, and poets love you 🗣️🫶🏼
