We’re proud to have worked on this remarkable exhibition, using light to create an intimate viewing experience that allows visitors to engage closely with Freud’s intensely observed portraits and studies. Spanning from the 1930s to the early 21st century, the exhibition explores his lifelong fascination with the human face and figure, revealing the dynamic relationship between drawing and painting at the heart of his practice.

Exhibition Arctic: Culture and Climate, The British Museum @britishmuseum
As the studio responsible for the exhibition and graphic design of Arctic: Culture and Climate at the British Museum, OPERA set out to bring the Arctic into the centre of London by shaping a landscape rather than a conventional display. A single horizon line structured the space and guided visitors through subtle shifts in light, sound and openness that evoked the vastness of the North.
Film, photography and a custom soundscape created an atmosphere rooted in resilience, ingenuity and a deep relationship with the environment, challenging familiar perceptions of the Arctic.
Developed in close collaboration with curators and Arctic communities, the exhibition wove authentic storytelling with contemporary relevance and invited visitors into the living cultures of a region experiencing rapid change.
