KP Gallery는 2026년 5월 6일부터 23일까지 국내외 작가들의 교류 기획전 ‘world _ S E Q U E N C E S’를 개최합니다. ‘world _ S E Q U E N C E S’는 참여형으로 진행되며 지속적으로 진화하는 글로벌 아트 프로젝트로, 이번 KP Gallery 전시를 시작으로 6월 독일 슐로스 미츠코(Schloss Mitsuko) 미술관, 7월 부산국제사진제로 여정을 이어갑니다. 이번 전시는 예술가의 경험 본질에 대한 질문인 ‘무엇이 나를 움직이게 하며, 예술을 지속하게 하는가’에 대한 각자의 서사를 소개합니다. 2025 부산국제사진제에서 발굴된 5명의 한국 작가와 21명의 글로벌 작가들의 ‘시퀀스’가 더해져 다양한 예술적, 문화적 맥락이 하나로 연결됩니다. 이를 통해 AI 시대에 더욱 소중해진 ‘인간 대 인간’의 지식 교환이 지닌 인문적 가치를 다시금 성찰하는 계기를 마련하고자 합니다. From May 6 to 23, 2026, KP Gallery is proud to present “world _ S E Q U E N C E S,” a curated exchange exhibition featuring both Korean and international artists. “world _ S E Q U E N C E S” is a participatory and evolving global art project. Starting with the exhibition at KP Gallery, the project will continue its journey to the Schloss Mitsuko Museum in Germany in June, followed by the Busan International Photo Festival in July. This exhibition introduces individual narratives centered on the fundamental question of an artist‘s experience: “What moves me and drives me to continuously pursue art?” By integrating the ‘sequences’ of 5 Korean artists discovered at the 2025 Busan International Photo Festival and 21 international artists, the project connects diverse artistic and cultural contexts. Through this, we aim to create an opportunity to reflect on the humanistic value of ‘human-to-human’ knowledge exchange, which has become even more precious in the age of AI. 응시하다 보면
경계가 모습을 드리운다. 경계에 서 있었다.
늘,
경계하며. 경계(境界)는 경계(警戒)를 만들고,
경계는 ‘나’를 가둔다.
경계선이 생기는 순간, 실재는 선 밖으로 밀려난다. 인식된 경계는
자신을 흐리게 만들 수 있는 가능성을 내포한다. 경계를 지워 나갈수록
자유로움과 인식의 확장을 느낀다.
언젠가 ‘나’라는 경계 또한
흐려지길 사라지길 소망한다. 무아.

20240717_7 exhibition_무아 개인전 ‘무명(無明)‘ _예술공간 다움 어느새 내 안에 무언가 뭉쳐가고 있음을 알아차렸다. 무엇인지 모를 찝찝함을 안고 살아갔다. 그 뭉침은 점차 밀도가 높아지며 형태가 점차 선명해져갔다. 극에 이르렀을 때, 그것은 칠흑같이 검은 원형으로 존재를 드러냈다. 원의 형태를 가진 구덩이처럼 보였으나 동시에 나의 원형(archetype)으로 느껴졌다. 그것은 너무 짙어 입체적인지 평면적인지 깊이를 판단할 수 없었으며, 빛을 반사하지 못하고 집어삼키는 것처럼 느껴졌다. 형태가 드러났음에도 존재만을 인식했을 뿐, 나는 그것이 무엇인지 정의할 수 없었다. 무언가 잘못돼도 단단히 잘못되었다는 것만이 본능적으로 느껴졌다.

CDI의 원곡을 기반으로 23년도 Faust에서의 ’Mirage/spectrum‘ 공연 라이브 녹음본을 함께 수록했습니다. This album features the reflections of musician Earring on the emotional spectrums he experienced in nature, inspired by the photographic archive of MooAaa. It inpudes live recordings from a performance 'Mirage/Spectrum' at Faust in 1023 based on the original tracks from CD2.

The artists in this exhibition discover inner memories that have yet to take shape, extending them in their own unique ways. This process becomes a sequence. There are no predetermined results or fixed models here. What to observe, what to retain, and how to connect—it all depends on each individual’s choice. “What drives me? Why do I continue to create?” This question does not settle into a single answer. Instead, it unfolds in diverse directions, waiting to be read through each viewer’s own perspective. This encounter, originating from the 2025 Busan International Photo Festival, marks the beginning of Chapter 1, told through the sequences of 5 Korean and 21 international artists. world _ S E Q U E N C E S _ Chapter I KP (Korea Photographers) Gallery, Seoul May 6 – 23 The ‘world _ S E Q U E N C E S’ project is dynamically transformative, a multimedia triptych of moving and static images exploring the theme of artistic identity. The exhibition 'Chapter I' highlights its origins at the Busan International Photo Festival (BIPF) 2025 and its future at BIPF 2026 in July, which will feature five Korean artists. @a_mi_yoon @choi_youngkwi @sikchoi @be.mooaaa @clausdongwooklee The Chinese photographer Xiangjie Peng @xiangjie.peng will also be featured with his photo series "Wandering Tent," which explores the concept of wandering and facilitates the project's expansion to China. This exhibition presents the project with all participating artists, with at least one photographic work, as well as 'Talking Head' and 'Sequences' videos from all participants.
