You may be wondering why long-standing members of The Fall have asked a 6'2, rugby-player shaped guy with an American accent to join the band on lead vocals....but here we are. Come check us out June 5th at @bandonthewall .
Let's get serious: popping back here briefly with a call to bands and artists in Manc/Liverpool area (or beyond). As you may know, I arrange and produce all the BC records. I've been focusing on producing lots of other artists while the new BC record takes shape. I'm booked through the Summer so looking to fill in the remaining Autumn slots for artists looking to do something interesting and awesome.
I'm working mostly out of the glorious @whitewoodrecordingstudios in Liverpool where my last 4 albums were made.
If you're planning a single/ep/or album and want to discuss please EMAIL [email protected]
Do not DM here as I am largely off socials for a while still.
Not really sure how to categorise this year. Felt like a submerge into every trauma, fear, and insecurity possible, some I'd been avoiding confronting for decades. It took it's toll but, at the risk of being too cheesy, I'm going to be better for it.
All that craziness was made tolerable by the love and support I have from loved ones, friends, family, band, and fans. When I look back one day I'm sure that's what I will remember most about 2025.
I'm not riding off into he sunset by any means. I intend to be a happier dude, which I believe will make me a better artist than I was before. That may require me to shut the BC Camplight door behind me, but some new doors are about to get my size-14 boot.
Will update you in the new year on all the happenings. In the meantime, be great to yourself and the people around you, and let them be great to you.
Merry Christmas
Brian C
Baby me in 2005 when my first record was released. Fresh out of a 5 year stretch where I'd been in and out of various mental 'facilities'. BC Camplight really did save me...eventually. Here we are in New York City and Philadelphia prepping the first BC shows. Not sure why I talked like a stoner.
@thebretset
Sorry Ramon and David. I couldn't find you.
We've managed to stay alive and finish the English tour. This week we head to Ireland with renewed vitality. Do not miss the show.
I will be on @rteradio1 tomorrow morning to announce our arrival.
Support from @pcooneymusic
Thank you Manchester. I can hardly believe how many of you braved the storm to catch our @o2apollomanc show. This city has spoiled me for years. I will never forget what you've done for me.
Massive thanks to my friend and very special guest @badlydrawnboyofficial . Great support from @itsbritishbirds .
