Open at Austin!
I competed in my first DGPT Elite Series event this past weekend, learning a lot about myself. I knew there’d be nerves and pressure.
Round 1, I was on the second feature card, with a camera following my card. A terrible start: 6 over through 6, out of the picture. I battled back to 5 over for the front 9. Going into the back 9, I needed to do something special. I shot 5 under to battle all the way back to even par and build momentum for round 2.
Round 2 started well, with birdies on the first three holes and a great tee shot on the 4th. Then, I 4-putted and took a double bogey on the 4th, losing momentum. I didn’t get much going on the rest of the front 9, leaving me at even par heading into the back 9. I knew I could do it. I shot 5 under again, finishing at 5 under for round 2 and in a good spot to make the cut of top 70%. This meant a different course as we headed over to Harvey Penick for the weekend.
Going into round 3, I aimed to secure a spot on Sunday and make a push for the cash line. I started strong, making clutch putts and building momentum. I got a birdie on the 10th and was in position for another on 11 when thunderstorms forced a weather delay, killing my momentum. The cut line was moved up to top 40%, making it unlikely I’d make it. Three hours later, play resumed, but it felt like all hope was lost. I still pushed through, but wasn’t able to put down a good enough round to play on Sunday. I was disappointed, but I know I have a lot of growth ahead of me and this is just the beginning.
I learned a lot about myself and my disc golf game as a whole. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported me this weekend. Thank you to all of the volunteers who put in the hard work to make this event happen. Thank you to Ezra Robinson for letting me tag along this week and taking me in like one of your own. I especially want to thank my family for coming out and supporting me. Thank you to my sponsors for providing me with the tools to compete at such a high

WACO
I played in the Waco Annual Charity Open this past weekend. This was my first-ever Disc Golf Tour event. I knew going into the tournament that the nerves were going to be there, and I needed to use them to my advantage. I put together three mediocre rounds that landed me in a tie for 59th. Each round had a lot of potential, but I made too many small mistakes that kept them from being good. Overall, it feels like my game is coming together and things are starting to click. I am looking forward to making my DGPT Elite Series debut this week at the Open at Austin. I can’t wait to compete on the courses I have played numerous times. Thank you to everyone who came out and supported me this week. Head over to the DGPT website to get tickets for The Open at Austin to see the best players in the world compete. I want to thank my parents for the never-ending support and blessing me with the opportunity to do what I love. Thank you to my sponsors for giving me the tools to succeed.

2026 Texas State Disc Golf Champion!
It was my 8th win in 16 Texas State starts and my first win in a masters division. The weekend was extra special with a double Reading win and daily visits from our neighbor gator.
My biggest thanks goes to @mintdiscs . Your discs are true. My Longhorns and the new lightweight Diamondback fought the wind and the Freetail rode it so nice. The same held true with my nocturnal Mustang being the 💨 fighter and my Lobster the rider 🌬️. I did add a nocturnal Bobcat to my bag and Oh My!! Oh My!!! Yes!
A huge thank you to the Texas State Championships staff, @wallygator29294 , Waldo Castro, @onestar_disc_golf , and city of @discovervictoriatexas . I had a blast exploring the city and playing the courses (even if they were longer than the FPO layout). The tournament also partnered with @educationaldiscgolf to ensure Texas youth have more educational opportunities to experience the lifetime game of disc golf. Then there was the fantastic group I got to play with! @wendyshepperd and Kim King are both athletes on the @wildflower_disc_golf_tour where we will surely meet again :)
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, said hi, told a story, or picked up my signature @postid Lobster 🦞 You fill me up and I will always spread that same love around. Thanks to @bcbeefjerky@birdie_bag_disc_golf@throwpink for the continued support.
