Opening the night with us on March 20th - Batiste is a Toronto DJ who’s deeply rooted in the city’s music scene.
You might’ve caught him during his long Saturday run at the Ace Hotel lobby, where he welcomed artists from all corners of the scene, behind the decks at spots like Bibliothèque’s speakeasy or maybe his own one-off party nights at Supermarket in Kensington.
His sets drift between house, disco, and funk, always with a few left-field moments that keep things interesting. Just as likely to be dancing as DJing, Batiste is a familiar face around the city on any given weekend.
