Created this illustration after encountering a lizzard in my room during my residency in the Sahara this year! The work explores how unnecessary fears arise—how we can turn a small lizzard into a monster in our minds. A metaphor for irrational fears. 🦎✨

Drew the legendary monkey XING XING today for La Chapelle @stedelijk_museum_breda . As some of you know I am a big fan of this monkey so he deserves a spot on my Instagram.⭐️⭐️ For me he resembles a buddha-like creature that chills and eats all day, and takes life for what it is. A true spirit animal.
Really nice to see all the designs I made for @kroongetuigefestival come to life at the festival terrain. Designs included posters, logo’s, festival map, festival gate, a mascotte (a hippo called ralphy) & a timetable. Really enjoyed the festival as well, definitely recommend going there next year! 👑🦛

The film follows three young people fighting for change in a world marked by institutional failure. Rohan (23), a victim of the Dutch childcare benefits scandal, struggles against a system that turned on him. Ruben (25) becomes a whistleblower after leaking documents about a controversial deal between the municipality and Chemours. And Sam (27), both civil servant and climate activist, finds herself on trial for civil disobedience. Linked by the energy of protest music from artists including Hang Youth, Ploegendienst, Sef, Sophie Straat and YoungRubbi, their personal battles become part of a larger call for accountability and change.💫

For sure my favorite scene from my short film ‘Lala Lallia’ that I shot in the Sahara desert. The morning after I took these shots me and these kids came up with our own rock throwing game using old metal scrabs laying around in the desert. Such a great memory✨🙏
