Amsterdam-based polymath sor (@sor ) performs ‘BWF’ live on Glamcult TV. Taken from his latest album ‘Insomnia,’ the track opens with choral vocals before his rap flows cut through the melody. Written mostly at night, the nocturnal record pairs looming synths with the essential 808s of trap music – delivering a lingering, high-tempo intensity. Born Rosario Mussendijk, sor operates across production, rapping, composition, and conducting.
Widely referred to as ‘The Black Beethoven’, sor is also a two-time Edison award winner. Refusing to be confined to one genre, he explores the intersection of R&B, hip-hop, and pop, threading them through with classical tradition.

Deze maand bracht rapmaestro sor eindelijk zijn album Insomnia uit. Na zijn klassiek meets hiphop-project keert hij terug naar zijn oude vertrouwde synthesizers met een keihard trapalbum. Hij kwam langs bij 3voor12 Radio om een paar nieuwe nummers te spelen.
