Every great cake starts with a vision and this one sailed in from an idea of strength, journey, and celebration. 🚢✈️
When Gbenga Olalekan Oso turned 50, the brief was clear: something bold, meaningful, and unforgettable. So we set out to create a custom 3D cargo ship cake that reflected a life of movement, purpose, and success with a plane on top to symbolize reaching new heights.
From the first sketch to the final brushstroke, this project was all about precision. We built the ship hull layer by layer, handcrafted the colorful cargo containers, and sculpted every detail from the deck rails to the tiny crew figures in their safety gear. The water effect at the base was poured to give it that realistic “sailing through the ocean” feel, while the airplane on the container stack ties in the spirit of global connection.
The name “UK UNITY CARGO” sits proudly on the side, making it personal to the celebrant’s story and brand. And yes — it’s 100% edible.
Alhamdulillah Rabbil ‘Alamin for the skill, patience, and creativity to bring this vision to life. This is more than just cake. It’s art, it’s storytelling, it’s a celebration carved in sugar.
