The word “Bashra” بشرة comes from the Arabic word for complexion✨…Skin is not only the foundation for any aesthetic treatment we can undertake, it is the reason that I initially got into the field of aesthetics in the first place, so it was only fitting to incorporate that into the name of my clinic💫

Hello and welcome to Bashra Aesthetics 👋🏼
I am Fatima, a GP and aesthetic doctor based in Bristol. I founded Bashra Aesthetics after having my own skin issues, with acne hitting me hard in my late 20s. It knocked my confidence and got me down and was not something I expected, having gone through teenage years unscathed. That’s when I began to look into skincare and learn more about the science behind it, and found a new area of medicine and science that I truly loved. That paired with long hours in the NHS and a less than ideal rota set up as a junior doctor, pushed me to rethink my career path.
After leaving my training post as an Obs and Gynae doctor, I took some time reevaluate my goals and decided to retrain as a GP alongside starting my new career in aesthetics… and although skin is what got me interested the field initially, I have since found a passion for the injectable side of aesthetics and love to combine the two when creating treatment plans for my patients as this multi-modal approach often leads to the best results!
Patient safety and quality of care have always been a top priority and I did not just want to set up “another” aesthetics business. I made sure to undertake the highest level of training there is, and went on to complete a level 7 in injectables and cosmetic dermatology. This qualification took nearly 2 years and ensured I was vigoursly tested in anatomy and practical skills needed to deliver expert care. Since then I have continued to challenge myself and undertake higher level training with world renowned aesthetic practitioners, to bring you- my amazing patients, the best treatments, highest quality care and newest techniques- thank you for those who already trust me with their beautiful faces, and I can not wait to meet more of you soon 🙌🏼😊🪄✨

We often get asked at what age we recommend starting treatments like this… the honest answer is that there’s not a specific age or “one size fits all” rule… the right time will depend on your lifestyle and sun exposure habits as ideally you want to start just before you start to see very fine lines at rest… saying that though, we treat PLENTY of people who come to us well after those lines at rest become apparent, and they too get some stunning results, but understandably, the earlier you catch things, the better the outcome is likely to be 🪄💫
