So this was a fun art copy project with the talented Christopher @siki_studio Almost 20 works in total and these are a few favourites. Originals drawn on paper, scanned and printed to double and in some cases quadruple in size.

As we are all preparing to say farewell 2025, I wanted to reflect and give a special call out to my dear friend Sandra Barnard at @sandyprints1For those who didn’t know, in late 2023 Sandy offered me space in her building to allow me to start and build Base White. We had a shared passion for printing and the arts but her belief in me and her generosity gave me the confidence to keep pushing and persevere through all the obstacles that a startup would face. The time came where we both needed more space and in October 2025 I made the move to a new location in Alexandria. It was sad to leave but I can’t thank Sandy enough for everything.Continuing to grow and refine the way I work, plus the friendships I made and reconnected with over the past two years has been a pleasure and privilege for me. Thank you to everyone for supporting me on the journey so far.I’ll be trading throughout the holiday period except for the public holidays. If I don’t see you in the remainder of 2025, I’ll catch ya next year! X Steve

Beyond unbelievable that a hail storm strikes during the printing of LUCKY ROCKET. The sky gods have answered.Steve from @basewhite_printing is a true master, can’t be happier with the results. Come see for yourself next Friday in Dundarimba/Lismore from 7pm @elevator_ari bring your wild along, let’s stir up the sky!The exhibition is part of the @headonphotofest 2025 Open Program. LUCKY ROCKET features 65+ images showing Bun Bang Fai “The Rocket Festival” shot in Southeast Asia — an ancient fertility festival, where rockets are shot into the sky to call for rain. ️ All images were shot over two days, a decade apart.RSVP in bio

Recently had the pleasure of working with @daniel_shipp again after many years. Here’s a quick behind the scenes whilst testing. Daniel’s series Botanical Inquiry: Super Nature is in its last week @michaelreid.northernbeaches ending on Saturday the 31st of May. Beautifully framed by the team @artandframing Whilst the weather is playing nice, I’d highly recommend paying a visit.

Just got in a new paper to test and profile. Really pleased with the results and hope to be fully stocked in all sizes soon. Thanks to @johnrespondek for the use of his amazing images. Paper is beautifully textured and a great addition to my fine art range.Ilford Textured Cotton Rag 310gsm from @c.r.kennedyimaging #ilfordimaging
