Basement Props

Got to do some sick modded handhelds for @freethrowemo to start off the year for their new album! Built around MagicX Zero 40s, we took measurements of the buttons and D pad, then custom modeled new versions matching the album art and colors. After tearing down the consoles, we also repainted the shells to match the vibe. The custom parts were modeled in @autodesk Inventor, printed with @elegoo printers, then molded and cast using @smoothon products before finally being hand finished. As a final touch, we added custom labels and stencil work to tie it all together. Thanks so much to the band and everyone involved for trusting us with these, stoked on how they came out!

Now that tour has wrapped, we wanted to say thank you to everyone who made the set design this run possible! First of all, thank you to all of the guys in @hotmulligan for giving us the opportunity to build this for them and @kaydargs who trusted us with bringing her creative vision to life. A huge thank you to all of the crew members on the road who handled the load-in, build, and strike every night. Thank you to @isaiahelix for being so supportive of the art department and keeping things running smoothly, @jacobgzellar for letting us wreak havoc on the stage, loading, and driving the whole set from Chicago.
