If your body is whispering to you on the bike, itās worth listening.
Those small signals - tension, instability, effort that feels a little too high- theyāre all part of the conversation.
Bike fitting is where those whispers get translated - turning sensation into understanding, and feedback into a conversation your bike can respond to.
Welcome to my bike fit TED Talk.
A bike fit, but make it āØBaselineāØ
143 fits in 6 months. Thatās a lot of you backing a physio-led Baseline approach.
Itās not just numbers. Itās an hour on the bike, making small changes until it actually feels right.
Your bike should feel like you. Iād love to help you get there.
Watch a snippet of Ellieās fit. She won the Summer Spritz overall GC and took home a custom painted Specialized S-Works SL8, along with a bike fit.
Are you ready to find your Baseline?

Summer Spritz has been one of those series that really highlights how important community is, and how powerful it is to create a space for women to grow. The progress, the courage to show up, and the way everyone backed themselves all season was so special to witness.
Being part of it through Baseline has been such an honour. Getting to support riders as they step into racing, build skills, and find confidence on the bike is exactly why Baseline exists. I have loved sharing my knowledge with a crowd so eager to learn!
And @elliemilbourn what a season. You backed yourself in an admirable way and it paid off. Iām so excited to get you dialled on your new bike and be a small part of what comes next.

Stickers are dangerously underrated.
Seriously though, why does putting a tiny logo on something instantly make it feel 10% faster, 20% cooler, and mildly more professional?
A bike fit is just a conversation between you and your bike.
Itās a process of noticing, adjusting, and feeling what changes.
And when it clicks, you feel it straight away.
A few small changes can mean:
- more power without trying harder
- less pain on longer rides
- feeling stable, not like youāre fighting the bike
If the conversation feels off, it might be time to start listening.

Baseline has now seen (over) 97 riders through the fit studio, which still feels surreal.
More than anything, itās shown me how connected we are in the way we move and ride.
Although thereās different goals, different bikes, different bodies, the same themes keep showing up.
Positions that donāt support the body.
Strength that hasnāt caught up to demand.

Such a fun one last week talking all things bike fit with @spinthatup !
Iāve had so much positive feedback from this event and so many of you so excited by the things you learnt!
Itās such an honour to be in a position to teach and help yāall understand your fit, componentry and physiology a little better.
Thanks @wmnsracingcollab & @maap.lab.melbourne@specialized_au and of course @sram_australia for bringing this one to life.
P.S. weāll do more of these events š«¶

Thanks to everyone who came through @maap.lab.melbourne yesterday for our Letās Talk Bike Fit evening. š„³
@gemelise_ from @baseline.cc and @spinthatup from @sram_australia walked us through the fundamentals of bike fitting. How to measure your bike properly. What saddle height actually changes. How reach affects control and comfort. Why cleat position, Q factor and crank length influence how your body loads on the bike.
It was practical, honest educational session. The kind that gives riders clarity and confidence in their own setups.
That is what @wmnsracingcollab is all about. Creating spaces where riders can learn, ask questions and feel more in control of their performance.
With two rounds remaining in the Summer Spritz Series, itās a good reminder of whatās on the line. The series winner will take home a custom painted @specialized_au SL8 from @velo_craft built with @sramroad and @zippspeed componentry, plus a professional bike fit from @baseline.cc to make sure itās absolutely dialled. š

Bike fit isnāt about chasing numbers. Itās about how your body and bike move as one.
Join Gemma (Baseline) and Lachy (SRAM) at MAAP LaB Melbourne for an interactive session breaking down the fundamentalsācleat position, crank length, saddle balance, bar setup and more. Small changes. Big difference.
