Here’s an alternative poster design for the project, also created by the brilliant Beth @bam.create While our main poster reflects the tone and feel of our take on Furi, we love how this version leans more into the game’s energy, while still nodding to the grounded, martial arts influence of the miniseries. From the beginning, we knew we didn’t want to simply recreate the game in live action. Instead, we wanted to explore Furi through a slightly grittier lens, while highlighting the characters and story that make the game so special.  We’ll be sharing more about the Guardians, the episodes, and the journey behind the project over the coming days and weeks. #furi #scifi #indiefilm #filmmaking

We are delighted to share that we will be releasing Furi, our miniseries based on the video game “Furi” by The Game Bakers, on YouTube! The miniseries follows a highly skilled warrior from outer space that breaks out of prison, helped by a mysterious guide. As his journey continues, he finds he must not only confront his captors, but the mission which put him there in the first place. Our aim has always been to explore the world of Furi through a more grounded & grittier lens while staying true to its story and spirit. We shared our vision with @gamebakers early on, and they’ve been amazingly supportive of us bringing our interpretation to life. The miniseries retains the iconic original soundtrack from the game, including songs by Carpenter Brut, Danger, The Toxic Avenger, Waveshaper and Kn1ght. We acknowledge our initial announcement wasn’t clear enough in setting the right expectations for our production value but we’ve since taken a moment to clarify what this miniseries is at heart - a self-funded project, made by fans, inspired by our love of Furi. This miniseries is a genuine tribute to a game we love, made with a lot of heart by fans, for fans.
