Nicolas Cilins (they/them) is a queer conceptual, video, and performance artist from Geneva, Switzerland. Much of Cilins’ work is collaborative. They work closely with people and communities, inviting them to take part in the creative process. Their practice focuses on specific contexts across Europe and beyond. St. Bartlmä 3, bartibae, Innsbruck, @diametrale_festival As part of the Diametrale / Innsbruck Immersive XR program, we invite you to an evening performance of LORECORE (v2). The performance will be followed by DJ sets LORECORE (v2) is a live-generated computergame essay which examines the relationship between narrative and technology. The work delves into the abysmal depths of myth-making surrounding powerful tech companies and their owners. It explores the logic and functioning of techno-fascism and investigates the synergies that arise from the convergence of the tech industry and the New Right. LORECORE (v2) is a spin off of the hybrid performance LORECORE. The title LORECORE refers to a concept coined by author Shumon Basar.
