A 35th place in my final IM World Championships in Nice yesterday.
Started the day with a good swim start but after 15min of racing a realised it was gonna become a long day. After 2 hours of racing I decided to just make the best from it and enjoy the race as much as I could. Some of my best and strongest racing happened on these roads in the past and it was nice to bring back some of these memories.
Finished with an average marathon but really enjoyed to see and hear so many amazing spectators and friends along the promenade.
Very happy I took the chance to race the best in the world on the full Ironman distance one more time. It was great to witness some amazing performances. The future of this sport is looking great!

19th place in @challengeroth yesterday
Started the day with a bad swim but felt strong on the bike. Thankfully had @zacharycooper_ and @notanotheraveragejoe ‘s company on the bike and shared some work.
Ran out of energy very early in the run and could enjoy the Roth experience a little longer than expected on the last part of the marathon 😉
No personal bests, no glory… just grit and a reminder that some days, showing up and not quitting is also a win.
