Haven’t posted on this account for yonks but I thought me and Owen making a book was a legit excuse. Yep ... Looking Sideways Vol. 1 is now available to pre-order through my website (with free global shipping an all).
We didn’t really plan on writing a book, but we got back from our Looking Sideways trio to California with so much material we thought we might as well. So we’ve spent the last year putting this thing together over many, many Zoom calls and WhatsApp chats.
It’s a visual record of our three-week trip from Ventura to San Diego, during which we met and interviewed the people who have defined and shaped modern surfing, skating and snowboarding: Herbie Fletcher, Jamie Thomas, Taylor Knox, Cori Schumacher, Cara-Beth Burnside, Circe Wallace, Jamie Brisick, and many more.
