I’ve been really reluctant to be in public with the NG tube but with no clear date on when it will be pulled I figured I have to keep living as best I can. Do you even vape, bro? Well, I’ve been back at Cedars for almost a week with severe pneumonia including cavitation (a dead space where my living lung tissue used to be) and some pulmonary embolisms (blood clots in the arteries of the lung). Basically it means the lung on my left side is pretty torn up. I’m on several antibiotics and should make a full recovery. The main thing now is that we get the fever under control so I can resume chemo. I’ve already missed a treatment and we know my cancer is super aggressive so I can’t miss much more. There have been a few really rough days in the mix but overall I’m still upbeat. What I’m huffing on here is a device to help open up the lungs so I can cough out as much bacteria as possible. 📷: @_krisgross #fightcancer
