【Music】Thursday Jazz by Barnaby Trio • 21/5 (Thu)
Barnaby Trio 為香港本地爵士三重奏，由鋼琴手及作曲人 Barnaby Lu @ahbarn 帶領，聯同鼓手Peter Yip @peter_yip0529 及低音結他手Pakc Kam @pakszelalala 。樂團以原創音樂為核心，融合爵士與即興元素，著重聲音之間的空間、互動與細膩的情感流動。
三重奏編制讓音樂保持高度自由與即時交流，在結構與即興之間取得平衡，發展出屬於樂團的聲音語言。
是次演出將帶來多首原創作品，並重新詮釋經典曲目，呈現一段關於時間、距離與聲音的音樂旅程。

Barnaby Trio is a Hong Kong–based jazz trio led by pianist and composer Barnaby Lu @ahbarn , together with drummer Peter Yip @peter_yip0529 and bassist Pakc Kam @pakszelalala . Centered around original compositions, the group blends jazz and improvisation with a focus on space, interaction, and subtle emotional movement.
Working within the trio format, the band embraces openness and real-time interplay, balancing structure and improvisation while developing a distinct collective sound.
This performance features original works alongside reimagined standards, offering a musical journey through time, distance, and sound.

【Exhibition】《忽逢桃花林》插畫個展 by 蔡慧國 • 18/5 - 18/6
以《忽逢桃花林》為題，本次展覽凝結藝術家這幾年在城市日常中的創作與漫思，如香港的美食、百年老店、通行交通⋯ 揉入中式吉祥紋飾、古典園林與桃花林等東方美學意象，將經典中的理想棲居與都市生活相互交融。同時，展覽也展現藝術家在旅途裡邂逅的風景與人文。她捕捉在倫敦的花園中遊走、觀看江南園林中的戲曲、北方石窟中的造像時突然而來的體悟和靈感，用圖像代替小說和遊記，領觀眾身臨其境。如展覽名，每一幅作品，都是一次不期而遇的瞬間，我們與不同的「桃林」短暫相逢，而又離別。藝術家用緩慢的畫筆，固執得紀錄下在奔流的時間中迅速消逝的集體風貌與個人記憶，靜止住剎那的溫暖。

Peach Blossom Serendipity Solo Illustration Exhibition
Encapsulates the artist's creative work and reflections on urban life over the past few years, including Hong Kong's cuisine, century-old shops, and transportation. It blends auspicious Chinese patterns, classical gardens, and peach blossom groves—elements of Eastern aesthetics—blending the ideal dwelling of classic times with urban life. It showcases the landscapes and cultures the artist encountered during her travels. She captures sudden insights and inspirations while strolling through London's gardens, watching operas in Jiangnan gardens, and observing sculptures in northern grottoes.

藝術家，插畫師，斬獲紐約ADC、日本插畫大賽等多項榮譽，與香港當地雜誌《就係香港》
（Being Hong Kong）等刊物長期創作，可見於M+藝術博物館的研究中心。交雜著狂野與詩意的想像自她日復一日的生活體驗與創作中淬煉出來，她的每一件作品都會開口講述自己的故事。
An artist and illustrator who has won numerous awards, including the New York ADC and the Japan Illustration Contest. She has been a long-term contributor to well-known Hong Kong magazines such as "Being Hong Kong," and her work can be found at the M+ Art Museum's research centre. Her wild and poetic imagination is honed from her daily life experiences and creative work, and each of her pieces tells its own story.

Sasha Frolov (Handpan percussionist) @sasha.handpan
Stands out as one of the few professional handpan players in Hong Kong. With over 16 years of experience in percussion, including 9 years dedicated specifically to mastering the handpan.
His musical journey began over a decade ago when he first discovered his passion for percussive instruments, initially inspired by the rhythms of the African drum Djembe. However, it was the unique combination of rhythm, melody, and harmony found in the handpan that truly captivated him, drawing him in deeply. Sasha is acclaimed for his ability to evoke emotional resonance through music, with his performances creating a tranquil and harmonious atmosphere for audiences. He places emphasis on both technical proficiency and creative expression in his teaching, ensuring that students establish a profound connection with the music they create.
Sasha is committed to continual growth and exploration, constantly seeking new pathways for musical innovation and inspiration. His artistic journey is ever-evolving, with his passion for music propelling him forward on a journey of endless discovery.
香港為數不多的手碟樂手之一，擁有超過16年的敲擊樂經驗，其中9年專注於手碟樂。十多年前受到非洲鼓傑巴（Djembe）節奏的啟發而發現到對敲擊樂的熱誠，更被手碟中的節奏、旋律與和聲的獨特結合深深吸引。他以音樂喚醒情感共鳴，為觀眾創造寧靜和諧的氛圍，他亦在教學中強調技術熟練度及創造性表達，著重於人與音樂建立深刻的聯繫。對音樂的熱情一直推動著他在不斷前行與演變。
