Last night we hosted The 2nd Annual Power WalkHER Global Honors 2025. Thanks to @edmondshonorbourbon :: The Honor Table was a space of legacy, connection, and shared power. this elegant and immersive experience unfolded in Atlanta, bringing together a women who embody what it means to walk in her power , unselfishly, unrelentingly, and in alignment. Founded by Barkue Tubman, Power WalkHER Global is a global platform built to galvanize high-achieving women through purpose-driven connection, leadership, and impact. This year, we chose intimacy because the state of the world calls for it and smaller spaces invite greater clarity, deeper exchange, and more meaningful celebration. We honored the extraordinary Dr. Bernice A. King with the Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Honor , and recognized Dr. De’Liece Drane author, minister, and a woman whose faith-filled leadership continues to inspire and transform both women lead the incredible work at the King Center and more Also in attendance was a few of our past honorees, including: @monascottyoung @yandysmith @deannalhamilton @dorawhittley @just_aminat …each returning to pour into this moment and the sisterhood it represents. This is the part nobody sees. On a work trip. Dress rehearsal today. So I’m on FaceTime for 12 minutes straight directing hair, makeup, and logistics from a hotel room. I am the Google. I am the YouTube tutorial. I am the help desk. Daddy’s doing his best. One daughter is tender-headed and over it. The other one wants to tell me everything that happened at school today while I’m trying to direct her father and the clock is ticking. And KJ still has swim, so nobody can be late.
