“an appreciation of comfort, movement and flow through clothing & a commentary on being an independent poc creative” - modelled by @katsurinze photography by @777simms styling by @missmallz & @brittanyortegaa creative direction and trousers by @barcosworld - when I reflect on this shoot, I can’t help but look past how cool the shoot was, and realise, that by bringing together this team of young, independent, poc creatives, from underrepresented areas and backgrounds, I created the representation I never even realised I needed in my own life, it’s hard to know what’s possible when you don’t see yourself in the places you want to be, so if you take anything away from this shoot, know our walks of life look similar to yours, we came together to create, delivering in our own lanes with the right intentions, creating an environment where we all felt welcomed, and able to fully express ourselves creatively, fashion does not have to be stressful. again, thank you to the team, this was my first hand at creative direction, and it couldn’t have gone any better, you were all amazing - I’ll be letting go of the trousers that I made for the shoot some time soon to help fund future projects - hashtags: #fashion #streetwear #editorial #sewing #fashiondesign #fashionphotography #styling #modelling #poc #creative #barcosworld #missmallz #independentcreative #fashiondesigner

my first full demo 30/10/25 started this choreo last night because I was feeling a type of way, booked a studio this morning, finished it off and filmed it, the longest and probably my favourite piece to date, my dancing really changed when I realised that it could be a channel for my most potent emotions: one year in and my relationship with dance continues to grow dc: me music: Make it Right by @lekan.official

29/01/25 Dear diary, I fell into a bit of a rut, I started worrying about my future, if I’ve built enough, done enough, learnt enough, But these emotions had to go somewhere. It’s funny how this song, and these feelings, and this thought I had for weeks came together like this, I always wondered where all of my talents belonged, but it feels quite nice nesting them together like this.
