Sunday Brunch is coming to Bar Brava 🧇🍾 We’re thrilled to launch our new Sunday Brunch service every Sunday from 11 AM – 3 PM, featuring the incredible team from @thebougiewaffle ! Get ready for scratch-made, elevated waffles and thoughtful brunch dishes that bring serious flavor and that signature bougie touch — all paired perfectly with our natural wine selection (and Mimosas!). Chef Jada Williams founded the Bougie Waffle in 2020 doing popups and catering and later purchased a Food Truck in 2023. Friends we are back open starting today with a limited menu. Fresh baked seeded long rolls for cheesesteaks and roast pork sandwiches. Axel is running the pots and pans and we are delighted for his return. With this menu we are donating 10% of sales to @mnblessings26 . A northside non-profit providing much needed food and essential goods to our neighbors. We are here to rebuild and to serve with a renewed focus on community support.

Dear Brava Friends. We have been through many hardships in our 6 years of operation, but the last two weeks have been the most difficult by far.  Minnesotans and the world have witnessed the tragic murder of Renee Good and Alex Pretti in our city.  We have again seen violence in our streets, families and our community separated and divided.   As owner of Bar Brava I want to formally apologize for my comments regarding the Somali community. In seeking to point out criminal behavior by a small group of individuals, I made generalizations, assumptions, and implied things about an entire community that were unfair, harmful, and divisive.  The consequences of my comments impacted not only me, but also my employees, friends, and family. I am deeply sorry and take full responsibility for my comments. An immense amount of personal growth has come from this. My hope is that repentance can be meaningful in an increasingly divisive world. Our pop-up and residency model has always sought to uplift talented young chefs from all walks of life. We do not discriminate and everyone is and always will be welcome at Bar Brava.  We are committed to doing the work and supporting our neighbors no matter what. Bar Brava will remain closed to reflect, rest, and coordinate our next residency. Stay tuned.   With humility & respect, Dan Rice
