Barbara Lavery grew up in Northern Ireland and studied in London at Central St Martin's Art School. Having worked at the National Theatre of Great Britain and the Abbey Theatre, the National Theatre of Ireland, she has since lived and worked in California while traveling extensively in Europe and Mexico.
